I am an ember

And deep within my worship

The Holy Spirit fans the flame

That brings me alive in a joy indescribable

In my worship of Him,

The One who created the heavens and the earth,

Lives the very essence of my relationship with God, my Father

My relationship with Him is all-consuming

And intimate, all at the same time

I have a personal relationship with Him

The One who breathed life into all the world

Yet He takes the time to know my every thought

This is beyond comprehension

Nonetheless, so deliciously and irresistibly true

My worship of Him, and to Him

Constantly restores me, establishes my balance

And keeps me humble

He is God & there is no other

He alone is worthy

Worthy to be praised

And worthy to be adored

He loves me as one of His precious children.
